The Inside Track : L80 - 'Longing of Belonging'
This song was a spark in a period of gasping and choking for some air of inspiration in a time of profound loneliness and hopelessness. During the omicron wave when literally everyone was sick and we had to isolate again in a whiplash period of sleepwalking through the pandemic questioning what’s the point of carrying on with music and art, there was a yearning not just to be loved but to be with people and to live our lives again which seemed just out of reach: the longing of belonging.
